Description

We are looking for Automotive SW Test & Integration Engineers with experience in Vehicle-in-the-Loop (VIL) testing and automation. The role focuses on complete vehicle software verification, robustness testing, and integration validation, ensuring stable and reliable operation across the full electrical architecture. You will perform exploratory and automated testing, develop and maintain test cases, automate the test cases, analyze test results, and create detailed fault reports. The role requires hands-on work with automated ViL setups supporting full vehicle-level validation and user journey testing. Engineers with In-Car testing experience with automation skills (CAPL / vTestStudio / Python) will be a good fit for this role.

Requirements

Proven automotive industry experience Strong knowledge of automotive electrical architecture Experience in SW verification and systematic fault tracing Hands-on experience with ViL and/or In-Car drive testing Strong programming/scripting skills in CAPL, vTestStudio, and Python Experience with CANoe and Vector tools Experience in automated testing and regression testing frameworks Swedish B Driving License (mandatory) Experience analyzing CAN logs and diagnostic readouts Proactive, hands-on team player with strong communication skills

Job responsibilities

Perform software verification, integration testing, and fault tracing at the complete vehicle level Execute exploratory, regression, and automated test cases Develop and maintain test scripts using CAPL, vTestStudio, and Python Work with CANoe and the Vector toolchain for simulation, execution, and analysis Analyze CAN logs, diagnostic readouts, and system data Create and manage fault reports, ensuring clear traceability and documentation Support testing in Vehicle-in-the-Loop (VIL) and In-Car drive environments Maintain and troubleshoot automated VIL rigs and test setups Integrate new functions and features into existing test environments Collaborate with rig development teams to ensure baseline readiness Contribute to stability, robustness, and full electrical architecture user journey testing Support requirement clarification in environments with evolving prerequisites
