Must-have skills

3+ years QA experience in production environments
Experience testing web applications and automated testing with JavaScript
Proficiency with API testing tools and web UI testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, TestComplete, Cypress)
Risk-based testing approach
Experience with Jira/Zephyr Scale and related test management workflows is a plus

Nice-to-haves

OAuth2, Kafka, AWS familiarity

About the role

As a QA Engineer, you will work with acceptance testing, regression testing, test automation and overall providing the highest quality experience to users.
Ensure quality of one of the most perspective and newest SmartBear product.
Plans tests for developed features and work closely with the product owner, UX Designers and developers.
Create and maintain automated tests for UI and backend APIs.
Review results of automated tests and log defects.
Performance and stress test.
Perform manual testing (exploratory and non-functional) with support of Zephyr Scale.
Monitor and measure test coverage to improve test scenarios.
Provide feedback/input on the techniques, solutions and tools used throughout projects.

We are looking for you if you have

3+ years in Quality Assurance in a production environment.
Experience with testing Web applications.
Experience with JavaScript for test automation.
Experience with API testing tools.

Experience with Web UI testing tools such as: Playwright, Test Complete, Cypress or other similar. A risk-based approach to testing.

Experience in following would be a big plus: JIRA, Zephyr Scale, OAuth2, Kafka, AWS, figma. We value intelligence, humility and hard work – after all, we’re solving complex technical problems!
