We are on the lookout for a talented QA Engineer (Automation) to work remotely for a reputed US company.

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Appium for web and mobile applications.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to understand requirements and provide valuable input.
Execute automated test suites, analyze test results, and report defects using bug tracking tools.
Perform regression testing to validate software releases and ensure no new issues have been introduced.
Identify opportunities for test automation and contribute to the automation framework's enhancement.
Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
Fix, track and communicate failures.
Perform manual testing when needed.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years experience as a QA Engineer with a strong focus on test automation using Selenium and Appium.
Hands on experience on Selenium web driver using Python programming language.
Knowledge and experience working with Mac OSX and Linux environments.
Experience in virtual device managers, docker and CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab)
Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g. Azure Devops, JIRA).
Knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and software development processes.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
ISTQB or similar certification in software testing would be an added advantage.
