Must-have skills

Knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC, and Agile/Scrum; familiarity with CI/CD and Git

Nice-to-haves

Experience with Cypress, Playwright, Appium; advanced test data management; performance testing basics
Prior exposure to Jira/Azure DevOps for defect tracking; experience in maintaining automation pipelines

Job Title: Automation Test Analyst

Role summary Automation Test Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. The role works closely with developers, QA, and business teams to integrate test automation into the SDLC and improve overall test coverage.

Key responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web/API/mobile applications (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium). Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand requirements and define test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria. Execute automated and selected manual tests for functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing; analyze results and identify root causes. Log, track, and retest defects using test management/bug‑tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.). Maintain regression suites, test data, and test environments; continuously refactor automation scripts for stability and reusability. Provide clear test status and coverage reports, supporting release decisions and quality gates.

Requirements 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation. Strong knowledge of at least one automation tool (e.g., Selenium WebDriver) and a programming language such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript. Understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC, and Agile/Scrum practices. Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and version control (Git) is preferred.
