Senior Network Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

#PROFILE

You and your team are responsible for the further development of our global network, consisting of over 100 locations worldwide

You work independently and according to your preferences on a project basis on the development, improvement, and future-proofing of the various components of our network stack

• Core network
• Automation workflows
• Network-related services (e.g. DDoS mitigation, RPKI)
• Monitoring and alerting
• You define and document standards for network setups or workflows
• You are the contact person for complex tasks or troubleshooting
• You work closely with a team of network architects, network and software engineers

Solid and proven network expertise as well as several years of professional experience in the service provider environment Understanding complex network topologies and technical relationships beyond the boundaries of your own area of expertise (compute, storage, etc.) is easy for you Automation, its design, and implementation are your thing Knowledge of the feature set and troubleshooting capabilities on network platforms from Juniper, Arista, Cisco, etc. Experience with routing (BGP, ISIS), control plane (RSVP, EVPN), and related data plane technologies (legacy IP, IPv6, MPLS, VXLAN) Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Go, Ansible and git Experience in using Linux system tools and common monitoring tools Very good written and spoken German and English skills
