About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer (Playwright – TypeScript) to support a large-scale enterprise test automation initiative. This role will be part of a distributed automation pod working closely with offshore teams to drive

  • Tosca to Playwright migration
  • In-sprint automation acceleration
  • Enterprise regression suite modernization
  • The ideal candidate is hands-on, outcome-driven, and capable of leading automation efforts within a product-aligned model.

Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript Lead migration of legacy automation suites (e.g., Tosca/Selenium) to Playwright Develop robust UI and API automation scripts Contribute to in-sprint automation for Agile product teams Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines Collaborate with offshore automation teams to ensure aligned delivery Improve test coverage, stability, and execution efficiency Participate in architecture discussions and automation strategy decisions

Required Skills & Experience 6+ years of experience in Test Automation 3+ years of strong hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript) Proven experience building or enhancing automation frameworks from scratch

Strong understanding of

  • Page Object Model (POM)
  • BDD frameworks
  • Data-driven testing
  • Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
