What You’ll Be Doing
Testing and ensuring quality assurance of PyAnsys-Geometry products. Conducting both interactive and automated testing of new design and modeling software features. Investigating, documenting, and tracking defects found in production code. Developing regression tests and unit tests to support ongoing quality initiatives. Creating scripts and tools to automate testing infrastructure, processes, and tools. Learning and employing industry best practices for software quality assurance.
What You’ll Need
Currently pursuing a BS in Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering (with a Computer Science minor), maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher Must be enrolled full-time and returning to your academic program after completion of the co-op. Demonstrated knowledge and interest in software testing methodologies and/or EDA tools. Exposure to scripting languages such as C#, C++, Python, Unix Shell scripting, or VBScript. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Collaborative, responsible, and motivated team player.
Preferred: Experience with PyTest, Python programming, and knowledge of Linux.
