Must-have skills

10+ years experience in DevOps/Cloud engineering or related domains
Strong object-oriented programming (Java) and OO design for scalable automation frameworks
Proficient in CI/CD, DevOps principles, and test data/environment management
SQL proficiency for backend validation; solid REST/SOAP testing knowledge
Excellent debugging, root-cause analysis, and documentation; strong communication

Nice-to-haves

Experience with API testing tools (SoapUI, Postman), RestAssured; mocking (WireMock, Mockito)
Load testing tools (JMeter); Docker-based test environments

10+ years professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related domains.
DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a full end-to-end automated regression test suite, ensuring it runs daily and for every product release.
Manage all ecosystem dependencies required for reliable automation execution, including environments, test data, services, and endpoints.
Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and implement timely fixes to maintain test suite stability and reliability.
Collaborate closely with team leads, tech leads, business analysts, developers, and QA peers to understand requirements and ensure the automation suite aligns with evolving product functionality.
Document automated test cases, frameworks, and procedures to ensure clarity, traceability, and maintainability.
Promote testing best practices, automation strategies, and continuous improvement across the engineering organization.
Knowledge & Skills
Strong knowledge of Test Automation frameworks, concepts, and best practices (UI, API, and integration testing).
Solid understanding of software development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps principles.
Deep experience with object-oriented programming, especially Java.
Proficiency in test data management, environment configuration, and mocking strategies.
Strong SQL knowledge for validating backend processes and data integrity.
Solid understanding of web services, including REST and SOAP protocols.
Ability to design scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills.
