As a Senior QA Engineer reporting to Director - Quality Assurance, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our trading platform. You’ll contribute directly to successful customer onboarding by validating system integrations, executing non-functional and performance testing, and driving continuous improvement across our QA practices. You’ll thrive in this role if you are analytical, collaborative, and technically curious—someone who can independently drive quality outcomes while working seamlessly across cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities Lead and evaluate complex technical scenarios across distributed trading systems, assess risks, and make informed decisions that balance delivery speed, product quality, and compliance expectations. Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality automation, test tooling, and frameworks using modern programming languages, contributing directly to the technical foundation of onboarding and system validation. Work hands‑on with Linux‑based environments, including shell scripting, networking fundamentals, system performance analysis, and troubleshooting across hardware, containerized, and server‑side components. Plan, execute, and continuously improve non‑functional testing—including performance, scalability, stability, and failover—while maintaining robust and scalable automation integrated into CI/CD pipelines and tools such as qTest, Jira, and AWS. Collaborate and influence cross‑functional teams to drive large‑scale quality initiatives, champion best practices, and strengthen engineering excellence across the organization. Required Qualifications Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in programming and Linux environments, including shell scripting, troubleshooting, and working with version control systems such as Git. Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, system design, infrastructure components, and hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or similar), Kubernetes, and Helm. Experience with functional and non‑functional testing methodologies. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, supported by a degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or related field), and a strong curiosity for financial technology and the trading domain. This position will be located in Stockholm and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
