As a Senior Specialist-Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our trading platform. You will work collaboratively across cross-functional teams to execute testing activities, support system validation, and contribute to continuous improvement of our QA practices. We are looking for candidates with a genuine desire and drive to deliver top technology solutions to today's markets With this position we offer Join the Trading Engineering under Market Platforms division, You will be part of a newly formed Technical Onboarding team, working with peers to ensure the successful deployment, integration, and performance validation of enterprise software in customer environments. Your responsibilities include supporting onboarding activities, conducting system integration and non‑functional testing, and serving as a subject‑matter expert in performance engineering. Role Responsibilities - As a Senior Specialist Quality Engineer, your focus will be developing and implementing software solutions. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries. Strong understanding of performance testing concepts and tools, including the ability to design and execute tests that evaluate system behavior under varying load conditions Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS or similar), Kubernetes (K8s), and Helm. Good understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, load balancing, firewalls), system design, and infrastructure components. Hands-on experience with Linux environments, including shell scripting and fixing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate moderately sophisticated scenarios and apply sound judgment. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams. We expect you to have: 8-12 years of experience in performance testing Experience with testing methodologies, both functional and non-functional. Experience in performance Testing, AWS, Linux and CI/CD Proven technical depth, strong analytical skills, and the ability to independently drive quality outcomes A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field It would be great if you Proficiency in one or more programming languages. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Ability to contribute to designing and maintaining automation frameworks and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines – preferably GitLab.
