How you’ll make an impact: Lead validation of software packages and system configurations on dedicated test benches. Test control logic, timing, response, and compliance with grid codes and functional specifications. Validate PCS, Central Controller, and PPC functionality, including communication protocols and switch configurations. Assess system dynamic performance (rise time, settling time, reaction time, overshoot). Design, implement, and maintain test benches replicating project architectures. Adapt test setups to meet project-specific requirements. Detect and resolve issues during bench testing prior to deployment . Prepare and maintain test protocols, procedures, and validation reports. Ensure traceability and formal confirmation of compliance through structured documentation. Standardize validation processes and reporting formats across projects. Develop and harmonize validation methodologies, templates, and reusable test cases. Capture lessons learned and integrate them into updated tools and protocols. Refine documentation to reflect evolving technologies and project needs. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Your Background: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field . 5-10 years of experience in BESS control system functionality testing, grid code compliance testing, and commissioning, specifically within utility-scale solar and BESS generation facilities, substations, or industrial plants. Strong understanding of control systems, industrial communication networks, and SCADA systems. Hands-on experience with PLC programming using Codesys, including integration with field devices and HMI systems. Proficient in implementing Grid Code Functions for PPC (Power Plant Controller) and BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) to ensure grid compliance and dynamic response. Skilled in setting up test benches for system validation and conducting dynamic performance analysis. Familiar with grid codes and regulatory compliance standards across various regions. Experience in Linux-based systems for configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of industrial applications. Strong ability to analyze system behavior and diagnose complex technical issues. Proficient in interpreting test results and recommending corrective actions to improve system reliability and performance. Proficient with simulation tools, test automation frameworks, and version control systems. Knowledge of software configuration and integration platforms for seamless deployment and maintenance. Experienced in preparing technical reports, validation protocols, and compliance documentation. Effective communicator with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.
