Arhs Group is currently seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in one of our large-scale projects for a prominent EU client. You will be part of a cross-functional team, utilizing different methodologies to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
WORK YOU’LL DO
Support in the creation of basic testing deliverables, such as test cases and test plans, under the guidance of more experienced team members. Participate in the estimation of time and resources for testing tasks, collaborating with the team to align with project timelines. Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of testing processes, with a focus on efficiency and scalability. Gather and understand requirements to create detailed test cases, prioritizing critical and impacted areas. Assist in assessing the impact of changes on other systems, helping to mitigate risks during releases and deployments. Participate in test and defect management, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement. Learn and apply root cause analysis to improve testing processes and overall software quality. Assist in automating basic UI and API tests to reduce manual testing efforts.

WHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR?
A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or currently pursuing studies in the field. At least 2 years of experience in automation testing. Basic understanding of testing and development processes. Experience in writing test cases and involvement in at least one project (academic or professional). Preferably some experience with Selenium and Java or other related technologies. Knowledge or interest in test and defect management tools. Familiarity with or interest in UI and API testing automation. Experience with or willingness to learn SOAP/XML and gRPC is a plus. Very good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
