Role & seniority: Test Automation Developer (mid-level, 1–5 years in test automation)
Stack/tools: UI/API/integration test automation; Java or other OO language; REST/SOAP, SQL; Jenkins, Jira; API testing tools (Postman, SOAP UI, ReadyAPI); basic SQL; performance tools (LoadRunner, JMeter) is a plus; CI/CD pipelines
Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites; contribute to test plans, cases, and data
Execute automated/manual tests, report defects with clear reproduction steps; triage issues with developers
Implement/maintain test frameworks and CI/CD integrations; monitor pipelines, stabilize flaky tests; document strategies and promote QA process improvements
1–5 years in test automation; REST/SOAP and SQL understanding

About the role As a Test Automation Developer What you'll do here: Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for UI, API, and integration tests. Contribute to test plans, test cases, and test data for new features and regression coverage. Execute automated and manual tests, analyze results, and report defects with clear reproduction steps and impact. Work with developers to triage issues, verify fixes, and improve testability of features. Implement and maintain test frameworks, utilities, and CI/CD integrations to enable reliable, fast feedback. Monitor test execution in pipelines, investigate flaky tests, and drive stability improvements. Support performance testing as needed, leveraging appropriate tools. Participate in code reviews for test automation and adhere to coding standards and best practices. Document test strategies, frameworks, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, metrics, and tooling. What you bring to the table: 1-5 years of test automation development experience Knowledge of REST/SOAP services and SQL Databases Proficiency in Java or any other OOP Language (python, C#, C++..) Familiarity with Jenkins/Jira Knowledge of API Testing tools (Postman, SOAP UI, ReadyAPI..)(an asset) Knowledge of Basic SQL Queries Knowledge of performance tools (loadrunner, Jmeter..)
