At our Siemens Foundational Technologies Development Center we are focused on a product development including software development, hardware development, mechanical design, and testing for the next generation concept of Industry 4.0.
We would like to invite you to cooperate on the development of industrial automation products within established, stable, and successful development project „ET 200 IO´s“. To strengthen world leading position of ET 200 Input/Outputs, we start development of new IO modules, integration of new communication protocols and industrial EDGE technologies.
Your task will be
Creating of source code in C / C ++ for embedded systems Create, review, and maintain comprehensive test cases and procedures, based on products specifications Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing of prototypes (both manual and automated) Maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks (Opportunity to actively shape our test systems by contributing your own ideas and influencing future test architecture.) Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines Analyze test results to identify root causes of failures Design, set up, document and maintain testing environment
What we will appreciate from you
Successfully completed university studies (specialization: software engineering / electronics or comparable courses). Experience in testing (test design, test execution) Good programming skills (C# or Python) Basic knowledge of electronics or interest to learn Knowledge of instrumentation for automation Experience in Siemens PLC programming (SCL) ISTQB certificate Efficient communication skill in English language for smooth cooperation in international team
