This is a 36-month fixed-term contract based in Dubai, with 5 days per week in the office.
As a Principal Quality Assurance Engineer – Cloud ERP, you will join the Quality Engineering team, where quality is fundamental to the reliability of our enterprise platforms. You will play a critical role in assuring the quality, stability, and integrity of large‑scale Cloud ERP solutions that support core financial and operational processes across the Emirates Group.
We employ a broad range of testing tools and methodologies, leveraging industry‑standard automation frameworks and programming languages such as Java, C#, and Python, alongside modern Cloud and DevSecOps tooling. Quality is embedded end‑to‑end through CI/CD pipelines, automation‑first strategies, and continuous improvement practices to ensure resilient, secure, and compliant Cloud ERP platforms.
In This Role, You Will
Lead quality engineering design and implementation for Cloud ERP solutions across multiple agile teams within an Agile Release Train. Oversee technical test design and quality architecture reviews to ensure alignment with enterprise Cloud ERP standards, integration patterns, and automation strategies. Act as a key decision‑maker in defining and executing ERP quality assurance strategies across all stages of the software development lifecycle, from design through post‑go‑live support. Serve as a trusted technical leader and advisor to quality engineers, guiding best practices in test automation, ERP testing, and quality engineering for enterprise platforms. Define, implement, and continuously improve Cloud ERP quality engineering standards, frameworks, and governance across the Release Train. Collaborate with technology leadership, product owners, and delivery teams to remove inefficiencies, reduce rework, and improve the overall reliability of ERP releases. Champion modern testing practices including automation‑first approaches, CI/CD integration, test‑driven development, and early defect detection to reduce manual testing effort. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, technical excellence, and shared accountability for quality in line with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles. Lead and support quality engineering activities across ERP integrations, data flows, and end‑to‑end business processes such as Procure‑to‑Pay and Order‑to‑Cash. Mentor and coach quality engineers, supporting their professional development and strengthening ERP‑specific testing and quality engineering capability.
Qualification
Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) with 8+ years of experience in Information Technology. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, or relevant professional experience. Proven experience designing and building scalable quality engineering solutions aligned to Agile Release Train objectives. Strong experience conducting technical design reviews and enforcing architecture standards that support modern quality engineering. Demonstrated ability to plan and execute risk‑based testing strategies across the full development lifecycle. Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining quality standards consistently across multiple agile teams. Strong collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams to embed quality engineering seamlessly into delivery processes. Proven track record of driving automation across all testing layers to minimise manual intervention and reduce human error. Experience leading root cause analysis and promoting blameless post‑mortems to drive continuous improvement. Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring capability to develop quality engineers in both technical expertise and agile methodologies.
