Role & seniority: Senior Performance Engineer (5+ years in performance engineering/testing; enterprise focus)

Top 3 responsibilities

  • Design and implement performance test strategies for MDM applications and services; create workload models for real-world data volumes

  • Develop/execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests; analyze metrics to identify bottlenecks across app, DB, and infra

  • Provide tuning recommendations, prepare reports, and support CI/CD performance testing; ensure compliance with SLAs and NFRs

Must-have skills

  • Deep experience with MDM platforms (Informatica MDM, STIBO, Reltio, IBM InfoSphere MDM) and data governance workflows

  • Strong SQL performance tuning; experience with relational and NoSQL databases; ability to optimize queries and analyze execution plans

  • Proficiency with distributed load testing, monitoring/observability tools, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience testing ETL/data integration pipelines; familiarity with microservices/API performance testing; knowledge of data ingestion/synchronization/matching/governance workflows

Full Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Performance Engineer to design, develop, execute, and analyze performance testing strategies for enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) platforms. The candidate will ensure scalability, reliability, and optimal performance of MDM systems handling large volumes of data across multiple integration points.

Key Responsibilities Design and implement performance test strategies for MDM applications and services. Develop and execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing. Analyze system performance metrics and identify bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure layers. Validate performance of data ingestion, data synchronization, data matching, and data governance workflows. Work closely with MDM architects, developers, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues. Create workload models simulating real-world data volumes and transaction patterns. Monitor system behavior using APM and monitoring tools. Provide performance tuning recommendations for applications, middleware, and databases. Prepare performance test reports and present findings to stakeholders. Support performance testing in CI/CD pipelines. Ensure performance compliance with SLA and NFR requirements.
