Responsibilities
Accounting Clerk will process vendor invoices, contract payments, and employee expense reports enter and manage accounts payable transactions and maintain accurate records Reconcile payment activity to bank and credit card statements Prepare and submit vendor payment confirmations Monitor accounts payable aging reports to ensure timely payments Process daily credit card batches and reconcile deposits to bank activity Research and resolve payment or deposit discrepancies Reconcile corporate credit card activity and match transactions to receipts As an Accounting Clerk, you will prepare daily cash journal entries for review Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and compliant payment processing Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of experience in an accounting clerk or similar role Experience reconciling transactions to source documentation (bank and credit card statements) Experience with accounting software preferred (Sage Intacct a plus) Working knowledge of accounts payable and basic accounting processes Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
