Job Title: Automation Engineer

Primary Responsibilities

As an Automation Engineer, you will be a key member of our new SRE-focused team, responsible for identifying and implementing innovative automation solutions to enhance system stability. You will focus on building and integrating "agentic" solutions and workflows that proactively detect, diagnose, and resolve issues before they impact our members. Leveraging capabilities within tools like Dynatrace and your expertise in scripting and development, you will create automated processes that reduce manual toil and improve the overall reliability of our services.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze existing operational processes and incident data to identify high-value opportunities for automation.
Design, build, and maintain automation scripts, tools, and "agentic" workflows to support proactive system management.
Leverage APIs and integration capabilities of platforms like Dynatrace to create event-driven, closed-loop automation.
Develop solutions to automate diagnostics, remediation of common issues, and system health checks.
Collaborate with SREs and application teams to integrate automation into their daily workflows.
Document automation solutions and provide training to other team members.
