We are seeking a detail-oriented Software QA Analyst to join our client's quality assurance team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing, good technical skills in test frameworks and scripting, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing. Conduct manual testing to validate new features, user interfaces, and system functionality prior to automation. Perform Japanese language proofreading on user manuals and software UI, ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and natural tone for the Japanese-speaking market. Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand product requirements and design effective manual and automated test cases. Create and execute comprehensive test plans for web, mobile, and enterprise applications. Monitor and maintain the automation test suite, ensuring stability, high coverage, and efficient execution. Investigate issues, identify root causes, and provide detailed and actionable bug reports to development teams. Maintain clear and updated testing documentation, including test cases, results, and execution logs. Support the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in both manual and automation testing. Japanese language proficiency (minimum JLPT N1/N2 level or equivalent) required for communication and review of Japanese-language product documentation. Proficiency in automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or equivalent. Hands-on experience with programming such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript. Good knowledge of manual testing methodologies, including functional, UI, exploratory, and regression testing. Experience using testing tools like Katalon, Postman, RestAssured, or SOAPUI.
