Salary: $19 - $35 / hour
Role & seniority: Technician (entry to mid-level); focused on testing and verification
Stack/tools: Basic electronic test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, current/voltage meters), mechanical measuring tools (calipers, micrometers), environmental chambers, hand and power tools; MS Office
Conduct destructive and non-destructive testing per ATPs/QTPs; interpret dimensional drawings and perform test setups
Perform design verification and acceptance testing of pyrotechnic and electronic products; review Acceptance Test Procedures
Troubleshoot, calibrate, and adjust test equipment, components, and systems; replace parts to correct malfunctions
1+ year in testing and/or mechanical inspection
Proficiency with basic electronic test equipment (VOM, ammeter, oscilloscope) and mechanical measuring tools
Ability to read drawings, operate test setups, and use MS Office
High school diploma or equivalent
AS in related field and/or military experience
Prior experience in test labs or IT project-based activities
Working in a test lab; on-site conditions with PPE as required; ability to stand 8–10 hours and lift up to 40 lb
Citizenship: US citizenship or equivalent per export-control requirements; not specified beyond that, salary range provided (local currency) 18.61–34.57
The Technician conducts complex destructive and non-destructive testing in accordance with written procedures such as Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) or Qualification Test Procedures (QTPs). This position also requires the ability to interpret dimensional drawings and perform test setups.
Responsible for design verification and acceptance testing of pyrotechnic and electronic products.
Must be familiar with test equipment (i.e.: oscilloscopes, multimeters, environmental chambers). Reviews system-level Acceptance Test Procedures for electrical devices. Troubleshooting, calibration and adjustments to test equipment, components, and systems. Correct malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts or components Use small hand and power tools along with various measuring and testing devices. Perform appropriate duties associated with specialized IT project-based activities. Participate in process improvement meetings and team 5S activities. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
1 year+ of testing and/or mechanical inspection. Knowledge in the use of basic electronic test equipment (volt meters, current meters, O-scopes). Basic mechanical measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.) and hand tools. Familiarity with MS office products.
Education And Experience
High school diploma or equivalent. AS in related field and/or military experience preferred.
Working Conditions
Test lab conditions (wearing PPE where required) Standing 8-10 hours per day Capable of lifting 40 pounds.
