Design, develop, test, validate, and troubleshoot automated control systems and PACs; implement automation logic and HMI functionality

Install, commission, and maintain systems; support field activities and provide technical guidance

Manage project schedules, coordinate project team tasks, interpret contract scopes, and maintain documentation (one-lines, descriptions of operations, system docs)
Must-have skills

Strong understanding of transformers, switchboards, controllers, motors, heating units, NEC/code compliance

Proficient in reading schematics, one-lines, engineering drawings; wiring, testing, and troubleshooting control panels and electrical assemblies

Electrical theory (AC/DC), electronic fundamentals; experience with AutoCAD; experience with Allen-Bradley PAC systems

Full Description
Job Purpose: To develop, implement, and maintain automated systems that improve operational efficiency, enhance product quality, and reduce manual workload through innovative technology and process optimization.
Duties
- Deep understanding of transformers, switchboards, controllers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, and related power-generation equipment, strong AC/DC electrical theory and electronic fundamentals
- Skilled in reading and interpreting schematics, one-lines, and engineering drawings
- Ability to wire, test, and troubleshoot control panels and electrical assemblies
- Knowledge of NEC requirements and commitment to code compliance
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar tools for electrical design
- Design and development of PAC control systems (Allen-Bradley)
- Creation of automation logic, HMI functionality, drive programming and system integration
- Testing, validation, and troubleshooting of automated systems
- Support for installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities
- Ability to create detailed Descriptions of Operations and system documentation
- Develop, manage, and maintain project schedules
- Assign daily tasks and coordinate project team activities
- Interpret contract documents and project scopes
- Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Maintain one-line drawings and documentation for all facilities
