Role & seniority: Test Engineer (mid-level to mid-senior) focusing on quality assurance for web apps and APIs.
Stack/tools: Web apps + REST API testing; Postman, RestSharp, SoapUI; Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail; SQL Server (RDBMS) and NoSQL testing; manual testing and exploratory testing; optional: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Azure environments; potential for test automation exposure.
Own quality within the project team; advocate for robust, testable, stable software.
Design, implement, and maintain manual test scenarios, frameworks, and tools; define and refine acceptance criteria and test plans with stakeholders.
Execute manual test suites (including exploratory and non-functional testing), report results, defects, and coverage; contribute to process and development quality improvements.
Strong manual testing experience for web and app software; experience testing web applications and REST APIs.
Proficiency with Postman, SoapUI, Jira, Azure DevOps, and TestRail.
Experience with relational (SQL Server) and NoSQL database testing; excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript; Azure environments.
Proactive, collaborative mindset; experience in Agile/Scrum; exposure to test automation frameworks.

Take ownership of quality within the project team, advocating for robust, testable, and stable software Design, implement, and maintain both manual test scenarios, frameworks, and tools Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define and refine acceptance criteria and test plans Execute manual test suites, and perform exploratory and non-functional testing Ensure high-quality reporting on test results, coverage, and defects Test web applications and APIs using tools such as Postman and RestSharp Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and overall development quality Collaborate with developers in maintaining high unit testing standards
