We are looking for a Quality Engineer with strong automation experience to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of scalable backend systems and distributed applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Java-based automation frameworks, testing microservices, and validating event-driven systems deployed in cloud-native environments. This role involves close collaboration with development and DevOps teams to drive quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java. Develop automated test cases for APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems. Validate system functionality, performance, and reliability across distributed environments. Test applications deployed using Docker and Kubernetes. Perform testing in AWS-based environments. Validate messaging workflows and data flows using Kafka. Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous quality improvement. Identify, document, and track defects through resolution. Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests.
Requirements
4–6 years of experience in Quality Engineering or QA Automation. Strong experience in Java-based automation testing. Experience testing REST APIs and microservices architectures. Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes environments. Experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms. Experience testing event-driven or messaging systems such as Kafka. Good understanding of software testing principles and test methodologies. Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Nice to have
