Job Title: Microsoft Automation Engineer (P1) – Development-Focused Role

Experience Level: Mid–Senior

Employment Type: Contract (3–6 Months)

Location: Remote

Work Model: Engineering-First Role About the Role We are seeking a Development-First Microsoft Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in PowerShell scripting, Microsoft Graph API, and Azure/Entra ID automation. This is not a ticket-based administration role. The ideal candidate will focus primarily on building scalable, secure, and reusable automation solutions across Microsoft cloud platforms.

Note: 80–85% Development & Automation | 20–25% Automation-Driven Administration Key Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities (Development & Automation – 80–85%)

• Design and develop advanced PowerShell automation frameworks and scripts.

• Build automation solutions using Microsoft Graph API (PowerShell, REST, SDKs).

Automate workflows across

• Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID

• Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Licensing)

• Intune / Endpoint Manager

• Create reusable modules and standardized automation libraries.

• Integrate automation workflows with SQL databases for reporting, auditing, and control.

• Develop internal tools, APIs, or services (C#/.NET exposure preferred).

• Implement secure authentication using OAuth 2.0, App Registrations, and Certificates.

• Optimize automation for performance, logging, and error handling.

• Collaborate with architects and cloud engineering teams on automation strategy.

• Secondary Responsibilities (Automation-Driven Admin – 20–25%)

• Support Azure AD / Entra ID and Microsoft 365 administration through scripting.

• Replace manual administrative processes with automated solutions.

• Troubleshoot automation failures and platform-related issues.

• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base.
