Must-have skills
PE licensure (NC reciprocity within 6 months if not licensed in NC)
5–10 years of relevant Geotechnical Engineering, materials testing, and/or Special Inspections
Demonstrated leadership, project/people management, strong communication, and client-facing skills
Excellent organization, planning, risk management, and ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
Ability to manage contracts, financials, and client satisfaction

The position will include oversight, direction, and growth of a team of project managers, senior technical engineers, technicians/inspectors, and support staff. Along with leadership of the team, this individual will be responsible for the overall performance of the department (P&L), client interaction, and some technical review.
