Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Background and Verification Analyst located in Lagos. The Analyst will conduct thorough checks on candidate backgrounds, verify credentials, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Responsibilities include reviewing documents, researching discrepancies and inconsistencies, preparing detailed reports, and maintaining confidential records, etc. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to streamline verification processes and improve accuracy.

Qualifications Experience in conducting background checks, verification procedures, and compliance monitoring Strong research, data analysis, and investigative skills Attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills Proficiency in using data management tools and software Excellent communication and reporting skills Adept at managing sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements regarding verification processes Professional background in Human Resources, Compliance, or a related field is desirable Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Law, or other related disciplines At least 3 years experience in the same role
