B.S./M.S. in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field
10+ years in manufacturing, quality, or product engineering; ≥5 years with electronics manufacturing (EEE components, harnesses, PCB/PCBA)
Proficiency with IPC standards (A-600/610/620 Class 3, J-STD-001) and MIL-STD; experience on production floor
Ability to author technical requirements, supplier scorecards, metrics, and cross-functional teamwork
Communication and ability to represent manufacturing/quality in product development
ISO/TS 61949, AS9100, ISO9001; Six Sigma belt(s)

Job Title
As an Electronics Supplier Quality Engineer you will enable Astranis supply chain to meet Astranis requirements by constantly being in the frontline with the most experienced suppliers and manufacturers of electronics, and Astranis Electrical Engineering expertise during the development phases of new technologies, production and product qualifications. You will be the first point of contact to support supply chain escalations, and will author supplier qualification, workmanship, and inspection standards to customize and exceed Aerospace Industry standards.

Requirements
B. S. or M.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
Bonus
Experience working under ISO/TS 61949, AS9100, or ISO9001. Familiar with electronics' supply chain. Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or Master Black Belt. Familiar with electronics secondary processing (polymeric coating, cleaning, manual soldering, tinning, de-golding, etc.). Hands-on experience reworking electronics, doing touchups, or performing testing and inspection. Familiar with components upscreening, TID and HDR testing.

Astranis pay ranges are informed and defined through professional-grade salary surveys and compensation data sources. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, and the level and scope of the position.
