Test Automation Engineer – ECU Validation Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a cutting-edge automotive technology organization, is seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer – ECU Validation. This role is responsible for developing automated test systems for electronic control units (ECUs), collaborating with hardware design teams, and driving end-to-end deployment of test solutions.
Job Duties Lead the design and implementation of automated test systems for ECUs from concept through deployment Define test strategies and requirements in coordination with hardware and validation teams Develop custom test sequences using Python within established automation frameworks Interpret electrical schematics and component specifications to inform test design Integrate and configure automation instrumentation including power supplies, DMMs, and signal generators Maintain detailed documentation for test cases, system architecture, and user procedures Support cross-functional teams during system validation, reliability, and product launch phases Troubleshoot and iterate test systems in both lab and manufacturing environments
