Barden is proud to partner with a leading client in Cork in their search for a Software QA Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced IT team, support software quality assurance across multiple platforms, and perform system testing and computer systems validation.
ABOUT THE ROLE Develop and execute test scripts, validating software across a range of technologies. Perform computer systems validation to ensure IT systems meet regulatory standards (FDA). Log software defects and provide detailed feedback to development teams. Develop, implement, and maintain test procedures, documentation, and testing tools. Opportunity to explore and help introduce automation testing.
ABOUT YOU 2-3 years of experience as a Software QA Engineer. Experience in a highly regulated environment (e.g., pharmaceutical or medical devices) is a strong plus. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Formal training in Software QA and proven experience in computer system validation across multiple platforms. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
OTHER DETAILS Permanent, full-time position with salary and benefits. Hybrid role - 1 day per week in the office in Cork city.
