Job Description We are hiring a MEP QA/QC Engineer for one of our clients in Abu Dhabi. Salary offered is as per the market standards. Insurance is company provided. Visa should be transferable.

Work Location: Abu Dhabi, with the ability to move any other other location the company requires.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement the QA & QC processes for MEP systems, ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations meet the required standards of quality.
• Develop and enforce MEP quality control procedures, testing methods, and inspection plans.
• Conduct inspections of MEP installations and verify compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and relevant regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure the quality standards of MEP systems are maintained throughout the project.
• Perform regular audits and assessments of MEP systems to ensure quality control during both the construction and commissioning phases.
• Review and approve materials, equipment, and systems for compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and coordinate corrective actions to resolve any quality-related issues in MEP systems.
• Monitor the performance of MEP contractors and ensure that corrective actions are implemented in case of any quality discrepancies.
• Support the commissioning team in ensuring that all MEP systems are functioning as per the design requirements and standards before handover.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations to implement best practices for MEP quality assurance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or related field).
• 5-10 years of UAE experience in MEP engineering, with a focus on QA & QC in high-rise buildings, luxury villas, and large residential developments.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems design, installation, and commissioning processes.
• Proven experience in QA & QC processes specifically for MEP systems, including inspections, testing, and documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant MEP software.
• In-depth knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and international quality standards for MEP systems in the UAE.
• Driving License in the UAE is preferred.
• Civil Defense certification is preferred.
• Certificate Equivalency (if applicable) from the UAE Ministry of Education is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to resolve technical and quality issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
