Job Summary
The Senior Test Lead in this role is responsible for overseeing the testing activities for software development projects, with a focus on utilizing selenium and Java technologies. The primary objective is to ensure the quality and efficiency of the software testing process. (1.) Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the overall testing process, including test planning, test case design, and test execution using selenium and java. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and strategies. Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts using selenium and java. Analyze test results, identify defects, and track issue resolution throughout the testing lifecycle. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on selenium and java testing best practices. Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within the organization.
Skill Requirements
Proficiency in selenium for test automation and java programming for test script development. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. Experience with test planning, test case design, and test execution within agile development environments. Ability to troubleshoot and debug testing scripts and frameworks written in selenium and java. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve testing issues efficiently.
Certifications: ISTQB Certification in Software Testing is preferred but not mandatory.
