Position: Salesforce Test Automation Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Test Automation Engineer to join the LGY Development, Security, and Operations 2.0 program. The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for Salesforce applications, ensuring quality, security, and performance in alignment with VA technical and contractual standards. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile/DevSecOps environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing of Salesforce applications.
Build and maintain test automation frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with developers, admins, QA analysts, and project stakeholders to define test strategies, testable requirements, and acceptance criteria.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, load, and security testing across Salesforce systems.
Identify, log, and track defects; analyze test results to improve test coverage and system quality.
Ensure compliance with organizational and federal quality standards and policies.
Generate and maintain test documentation, including test plans, reports, and KPIs.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce test automation tools (e.g., Provar, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JMeter).
Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or Apex test frameworks.
Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevSecOps methodologies.
Proven ability to manage test environments, troubleshoot automation issues, and ensure accurate setup.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
3+ years of experience in manual and automated testing of Salesforce or enterprise applications.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
