Position Name – Sr. BE SDET (Databricks) Type of hiring – Fulltime Location – Remote Canada

Job Description

General Requirements

• 5+ Years of experience in automation testing.
• Good ability to adapt and improve (will join using Yaapita which is an internal tool, may upgrade to another library like RestAssured or Karate).

Test Case Management: Jira.

Repository: GitHub.

Code Management: Git.

Must Have

• REST API Libraries for testing (RestAssured, Karate, etc.).
• Selenium/Playwright.

Programming language: Java.

Test Runner experience: TestNG

CI/CD: Git Hub Actions (Or Jenkins at least) Knowledge in cloud technologies, preferably GCP or Azure. End-to-End testing experience. Basic knowledge of Non-SQL DB (MongoDB preferred). Python experience.

Nice to have

• Docker/Kubernetes.
• Databricks (Python) testing experience.
• E-commerce experience.

Back-end asynchronous testing experience: Kafka.

Behavior Skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams, including back end and front end developers, QAs, and product managers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
