Role & seniority: Quality Control Manager (Senior/lead level) at Harder Mechanical Contractors; direct-hire, long-term position assigned to an existing project with potential future opportunities.
Stack/tools: AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, 3D Modeling (Autodesk preferred), Autodesk Plant 3D; strong knowledge of piping/structural scopes; QA regulatory familiarity; on-site QC testing and documentation.
Supervise quality control inspectors and field team to ensure all quality standards are met.
Oversee procedures to prevent deviations from quality requirements and ensure regulatory compliance.
Track QC statistics, complete documentation, perform on-site tests, and train QC staff; coordinate with client and Project Management.
5+ years of experience with strong 3D piping knowledge.
Current or previous AWS CWI or LEV II certification.
Proficient in AutoCAD/Autodesk tools; excellent communication with diverse stakeholders; organized with strong time-management.
Experience with high-tech tool install process piping systems; prior work on structural/piping scopes and process piping detailing.

This role monitors and maintains Harder’s quality standards while complying with local and state regulations. This is a long-term, direct-hire position; the successful candidate will be assigned to an existing project with the potential for project opportunities beyond their originally assigned project. Candidates must be able to work locally at a job site in Phoenix, AZ or willing to relocate there at their own expense.
