Role & seniority: Testing Research Associate (senior level; requires >=5 years crop management; open to PhD with 1 year or MSc with 3 years)
Stack/tools: Agricultural research equipment; data management systems; Windows and iOS (iPhone/iPad) data capture; internal IT systems; metrics/quality control tools; calibration and maintenance logs
Plan, execute, and optimize experimental protocols and performance trials in protected culture and open-field settings for tomato, sweet peppers, cucumbers
Collect, manage, and assure data quality; collaborate with breeders, data scientists, and engineers; coordinate with growers and third-party cooperators
Develop and implement strategic testing plans aligned with business objectives; analyze trial data to support product advancement and market fit
Degree in Horticulture, Agronomy, or related field; strong crop management experience (open field or greenhouse)
Ability to develop project plans, analyze field trial data, and work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Experience with agricultural equipment, crop production practices, and data capture/quality control; strong communication across management levels
Driver’s license; proficiency in English (spoken/written)
PhD with relevant experience or MSc with substantial field experience
Familiarity with data-analytic tools, data visualization, and emerging technologies for data collec
