Execute Advanced Product Quality Planning and validation activities across the PPAP program lifecycle.

Lead APQP task completion and staged initial process signoffs (iPSO) to ensure product/process robustness.

Serve as Voice of the Customer (VOC): translate OEM requirements into specifications/special characteristics and drive quality risk management; coordinate cross-functionally to resolve issues and escalate when needed.

Full Description
The Advance Quality Engineer will play a key role in quality planning, ensuring that all stages of new program development follow the required quality standards. This role serves as the Voice of the Customer, ensuring alignment between customer (OEM) expectations and plant deliverables. The position involves direct communication with customers such as Audi, Mercedes and BMW to define quality criteria and follow up during development and launch, ensuring products meet customer expectations through effective risk management.
Key Responsibilities Execute disciplined Advanced Quality Planning and validation of our products and processes throughout the PPAP program procedure. Lead the systematic completion of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) tasks and staged Initial Process Signoffs (iPSO) to ensure robust product and process development and validation. Collaborate actively with the Cross‑Functional Team, providing inputs, identifying risks on quality‑related issues, and driving the resolution of quality concerns. Lead problem‑solving and escalation activities throughout the development phases, guiding the team through the application of core quality tools (8D, SPC, Ishikawa, 5 Why, etc.). Ensure that the Voice of the Customer (VOC) is understood and translated into specifications, requirements, special characteristics, and technical documentation. Drive continuous improvement in our products and processes by challenging the status quo and eliminating non‑value‑added activities.
What we need from you, for internal posting Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Desired experience in the automotive sector with previous experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Program Development, SQE, STA role, production required. Desired experience using automotive quality tools, (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, DOEs, MSA, Control Plan, Gauge R&R, etc.) Business English and Spanish is a must. Travel expectation 30% in Europe (OEMs, Suppliers, RESRG plants) Highly detail-oriented, with strong organizational and analytical skills. Effective communicator with ability to collaborate across multiple regions and disciplines.
