Role: QA Analyst

Location: Toronto (Hybrid โ€” 2 day/week )

Job type: Contract(6 Months) - High possibility of Extention

Overview

  • The QA Analyst will support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for a regulatory-driven initiative. This role focuses on executing test cases, validating data and reporting outputs, and working closely with business and technology teams to ensure solutions meet requirements and are production-ready.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute UAT test cases and scenarios across data, reporting, and dashboarding solutions
  • Support test planning, including test case creation, data setup, and validation approach
  • Validate data accuracy, reconciliation, and reporting outputs against business requirements
  • Log, track, and retest defects; support triage and resolution with QA and development teams
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Maintain test documentation, execution status, and evidence for audit purposes
  • Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, and issues
  • Support go-live activities, including validation and post-release checks

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in QA/UAT for data, reporting, or analytics-driven projects
  • Strong understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and testing methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with test execution and defect management
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams (business, QA, development)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall environments
