Role Description This full-time, on-site Senior Software Test Engineer role is based in Huntsville, AL. The responsibilities include developing and executing software test plans, analyzing test results to ensure software quality, and collaborating with development teams to resolve defects. The role also involves automating test cases, creating detailed documentation, and contributing to the continuous improvement of testing methods and tools. Qualifications Extensive experience in software testing, including planning, execution, and defect tracking Strong proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ Familiarity with version control systems and software development lifecycle Understanding of system-level and regression testing methodologies Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration Ability to work effectively in an on-site, team-oriented environment Experience in defense or engineering projects is a plus Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
