We are seeking a skilled Python Automation Test Engineer to join our QA and development team in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automation frameworks, API testing, and CI/CD pipelines, with hands-on expertise in Python scripting. This is an onsite role requiring close collaboration with the engineering team and a mandatory face-to-face interview as part of the hiring process.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Python.
Perform API, UI, and backend testing to ensure functionality and performance.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Analyze and report test results, identify defects, and drive resolution.
Integrate automation tests within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).
Enhance and refactor existing automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability.
Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and QA process improvements.
Execute manual tests when required to support releases and regression cycles.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation.
Proficiency in PyTest, unittest, or similar frameworks.
Strong experience in REST API testing (Postman, Requests).
Good understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and Agile practices.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerized environments.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
