Job Description

We are seeking a QA Lead / Test Lead with strong experience in test strategy, test execution, defect management, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will drive comprehensive testing efforts for enterprise-scale applications, ensuring product quality and alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Execution

Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and detailed test cases.
Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT testing.
Validate APIs, services, and map layers through manual and automated test cases.
Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure consistent application performance.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project teams to align testing activities with requirements.

Defect Management & Quality Assurance

Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, HP ALM, or similar tools.
Perform root cause analysis and coordinate defect triaging for timely resolution.
Ensure adherence to QA best practices and industry regulations.
Deliver clear test progress reports and metrics to stakeholders.

Test Automation & Tools

Contribute to test automation initiatives, especially for API and workflow validation.
Exposure to Tosca or similar automation tools preferred.
Support automation of repetitive validation tasks while maintaining focus on manual testing.

Stakeholder & Team Management

Lead and mentor the testing team for effective collaboration and performance.
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and offshore units to ensure smooth execution of test cycles.
Participate in client discussions, requirement analysis, and sign-offs to ensure testing objectives are met.

Required Skills
