What You’ll Be Doing
Working in a team environment you will be leading a multi disciplined engineering team, developing test equipment solutions that support the complex and demanding requirements of our military products. Our test solutions are multifaceted and versatile, using model-based engineering approaches to provide innovative equipment across our customer base
This role will provide you with a good opportunity to be part of a diverse and growing team, where ideas and development is encouraged, with opportunities to direct ladder or sidestep into other areas of the BAE Systems organisation. You will be managing the complete development lifecycle, within a challenging timescale, in order to support our customer requirements
Supporting our drive to innovative test solutions, maximising automation
Championing team performance and development
Management of schedule adherence and cost control
Full engineering lifecycle, risk and opportunity management
Lead stakeholder project reviews
Support across the bid lifecycle

Your Skills And Experiences
Proven experience of working in an engineering environment
Experience in leading test solutions or in a similar engineering discipline
Educated to degree level or equivalent working experience
Proven team leader or management background
Solutions provider who has a thinking outside the box approach
