Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical QAQC Engineer specializing in Steel Fabrication to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout our steel fabrication processes.

Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures for steel fabrication projects Conduct regular inspections and audits of fabrication processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and other project documents Perform non-destructive testing and analyze results to identify potential quality issues Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and fabrication teams to resolve quality-related problems Prepare comprehensive quality reports and maintain accurate documentation Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in steel fabrication and quality management Train and mentor junior team members on quality assurance processes and techniques Liaise with clients and third-party inspectors to address quality concerns and ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Minimum 2 years of experience in QAQC within the steel fabrication industry In-depth knowledge of quality control and quality assurance methodologies Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes and techniques Proficiency in CAD software and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Familiarity with industry standards and regulations relevant to steel fabrication Experience with non-destructive testing methods and interpretation of results Relevant quality management certifications (e.g., ASQ, CWI) preferred Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong analytical and organizational abilities Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
