Duties
Duties will include, but are not limited to
Assist mission thread leads in managing and coordinating testing roles and responsibilities within test planning teams (TPTs). Coordinate/facilitate integration and communication between Sentinel CTF, SPO, and Prime Contractor. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary government and contractor team to plan, test, analyze, and report through multiple program acquisition phases. Support the development of test requirements and detailed integration test plans, test procedures, technical and safety review boards (TRB/SRBs), test readiness reviews (TRRs), and test assessment reports. Support integration and advancement of government assessment tools through advocacy for technical approaches and development of specific tools to enable assessment. Assess test support and systems integration progress and trends of testing, identify problems and areas of concern for assigned systems. Maintain cognizance of all assigned Combined Test Force (CTF)/Test Team engineering activities. Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Integrated Test Teams (ITTs) as appropriate. Provide technical support and advocate integrated approaches of engineering efforts and support of test activities for which existing guidelines may not be available or applicable. Manage unit access to safes, IT equipment lists, account/platform access and COMSEC responsibilities. Participate and lead the management of project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively. Create and maintain risks identified by the test team through the risk framework process. Quickly and effectively identify and resolve technical and logistical challenges that arise during flight test. Serve as a test team participant in the development of overall plans such as the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), System Test Plan (STP), Developmental Test (DT) Report, recommendation for IOT&E readiness, and other technical documents.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science Degree. *Experience may be substituted for education with customer approval. 6 years of relevant experience. Awareness of relevant government regulation and standards regarding ICBM testing. Ability to analyze and identify root causes to problems. Developing detailed project plans (defining scope, objectives, tasks) all within Jira (project management software). Identify, monitor, and control risks and risk strategies.
Security Clearance
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Desired Experience
Masters Degree 6 plus years working on a DoD missile acquisition program. Communication skills - excellent written and verbal communication, particularly with technical information.
Other Essential Job Functions
Document Configuration control skills Must be willing to travel up to 10%.
