Iris’s client, one of the Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire a Sr. ETL Tester / Lead for a long term contract opportunity.

Position: Sr. ETL Tester / Lead

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term Required Skill Lead QA/QE planning, execution, and reporting for E2E testing across Market Risk and Global Trade Desk technology platforms, handling complex upstream input dependencies across a diverse portfolio of business applications. Strong Experience in ETL Testing, Advance SQL, Data Testing, Data Validation etc. Develop and implement integrated QA strategies (manual/automated), ensuring sustainable, efficient QA processes and proper adherence SDLC standards. Act as subject matter expert for market risk and trading application testing – translating regulatory, data, and business requirements into actionable test plans. Champion best practices in test design, automation, regression, performance, and systems integration testing. Build and mentor a cross-functional team of QA analysts and QE engineers, managing career growth, workloads, and performance with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement. Establish quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to inform project health and identify improvement opportunities. Interface with business stakeholders, development leads, and project managers to ensure technology meets business objectives, risk models function as intended, and changes are assessed and validated.
