Your mission You'll own the PLC software architecture and control logic across our full DAC system — from sensor integration and process sequencing to safety interlocks and automated data acquisition. You'll translate process engineering requirements into reliable, scalable TIA Portal code and define the automation standards that will carry us from our tFOAK pilot into commercial-scale deployment. Your work is the nervous system of our plant: without it, nothing runs. Your profile Skills & Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field 5+ years of hands-on PLC programming, with strong proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal and S7-1500 Experience integrating process instrumentation (flow, pressure, pH, conductivity, temperature) into automated control loops Familiarity with PROFINET, Modbus, or OPC-UA Experience with SCADA/HMI development (WinCC, Ignition, or similar)

To achieve that we at Ucaneo develop an innovative electrochemical Direct Air Capture technology mimicking the human lung to remove CO2 from ambient air.
