About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team in Tallahassee, FL, in a hybrid work setting. This role is vital in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products and systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software quality assurance, with a strong background in testing methodologies, automation, and process improvement. As a Quality Assurance Analyst at Swarky Solutions, you will collaborate closely with development, product management, and operations teams to develop comprehensive test plans, execute testing procedures, and ensure that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where innovation and precision are valued. The role requires US citizenship or a valid Green Card, as it is a W2 position.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess at least five years of professional experience in software quality assurance or related fields. Experience working within a DevOps environment is highly desirable, as it demonstrates familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment processes. Prior management or team leadership experience is required, showcasing your ability to oversee testing teams, coordinate activities, and mentor junior staff. A solid understanding of enterprise architecture principles is essential to align testing strategies with organizational standards. Knowledge of Informatica IICS Cloud Data Integration tools and Snowflake data platform is highly preferred, as these are integral to our current projects. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to effectively document and report testing outcomes. A proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements are also important for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality across multiple systems and platforms. Conduct manual and automated testing to identify bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities, and document findings clearly and concisely. Collaborate with development teams to understand system requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings to ensure testing activities align with project timelines and objectives. Utilize testing tools and frameworks to automate repetitive tasks, improve efficiency, and enhance test coverage. Monitor and report on testing progress, providing detailed defect reports and recommendations for resolution. Assist in the development of quality assurance standards, best practices, and procedures to enhance overall testing processes. Support the deployment of new software releases and updates, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum quality. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance to continuously improve testing methodologies.
