Role Description The Senior QA Automation Engineer will work in a part-time, remote capacity, leading quality assurance efforts for Sankalp’s digital platforms and tools. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks, as well as creating and executing test cases to ensure system reliability and performance. The engineer will collaborate with developers and project teams to identify defects, validate fixes, and improve software testing processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing requirements, conducting manual and automated testing, documenting test results, and recommending enhancements to strengthen product quality. The role also includes mentoring team members on QA best practices and contributing to continuous improvement of testing standards. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Assurance and Software Testing. Candidates should possess practical experience in designing and executing Test Cases and performing Manual Testing. Candidates should possess hands-on expertise in QA Automation, including test framework development and automated test execution. Experience with common testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG) and version control systems is beneficial. Solid understanding of SDLC, defect tracking, and regression testing, with the ability to work independently in a remote setup. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with attention to detail and a focus on reliability and usability. Prior experience in non-profit, social impact, or community-focused projects is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
