About The Role

GrabJobs is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate QA Engineer to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform, contributing directly to the development and deployment of our innovative recruitment solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in quality assurance practices, with an emphasis on SaaS applications, and will collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products. Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively are essential. Prior experience or internships in QA, especially within SaaS or software development environments, will be advantageous. Candidates must be able to work in the nearest GrabJobs office four days per week and should reside within the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones. A proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within an Agile team are also important for success in this role.

Responsibilities

The Associate QA Engineer will be responsible for creating comprehensive test cases and scripts based on design and requirements documentation. You will work closely with software engineers and product managers in an Agile environment to ensure quality standards are met throughout the development process. Your duties will include documenting test cases, executing tests within scheduled timelines, and recording results in test management tools. Additionally, you will identify, document, and communicate defects clearly and effectively in the defect tracking system, facilitating prompt resolution. Continuous learning and process improvement are encouraged, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards and enhancing user experience.
