Role & seniority: Quality Assurance and Automation Lead (senior/lead level)

Design, implement and maintain test automation frameworks; develop and execute automation scripts

Job Description
Infosys is looking for a Quality Assurance and Automation lead responsible for Network & Application quality assurance, test automation and issue resolution liaising with client, business and Infosys development teams, ensuring high quality of deliverables along with high customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Tampa, FL or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
4+years of hands-on experience in Quality assurance and should have implemented Test Automation solution for Sanity, Smoke, Regression testing
Hands-on experience in implementing Test automation solutions using Java, Python, Selenium, TestNG, API Automation, BDD Cucumber, Appium, RPA BOTS.. etc
Knowledge of software test life cycle activities and agile methodologies
Experience in Telecommunication and Network systems
Experience in Unix/Linux, shell scripting
Experience in CI/CD, DevOps and monitoring tools involving Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Grafana, Newrelic
Experience in AWS cloud technologies
The individual will be performing below responsibilities in the role -
Understand requirements, review designs, validate the architecture and ensure high levels of service offerings to clients in the Telecommunications networks and technology domain Participate in project estimation, provide inputs for solution delivery Prepare Test strategies, test plans and test cases for the application releases Conduct reviews for the test artifacts produced by team Design and implement test automation leveraging test automation platforms and frameworks Develop and execute test automation scripts Integrate with DevOps dashboard and document test results and test run details Perform System integration testing, End-to-end testing, User acceptance testing, Performance testing and Production cut-over testing ensuring all the features are validated thoroughly Ensure right test environment is available and provide necessary review feedback for test data setup to ensure timely commencement of test execution Validate "go live" activities such as production verification to ensure that the application runs in the production environment Perform issue triaging and resolution interfacing with client, business and application stakeholders Retrieve application logs, platform logs, system logs, OS logs and network traces to understand the issue and support in troubleshooting Prepare and publish root cause analysis (RCA) details for the issues in production and pre-production environments Perform defect prevention activities and improve over-all product quality and customer experience Lead and guide your teams towards developing optimized high quality deliverables, continual knowledge management and adherence to the organizational guidelines and processes Contribute to building efficient programs/ systems and help our clients navigate their next in their digital transformation journey Collaborate with client, business and development teams across SDLC stages and support in release planning Implement and support disaster recovery and restoration strategies.

Preferred Skills
