  • Build/support automation, testing systems, tools, and dashboards to improve build/test/delivery efficiency and game quality

  • Must-have skills:

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As an Automation Engineer at NLG, you'll help improve how games are built, tested, and delivered. You'll build and support automation, testing systems, tools, and dashboards that help teams work more efficiently and create higher-quality games. Working closely with developers, QA, and other disciplines, you'll identify opportunities to streamline productivity, workflows, and game quality across the studio. You will operate and evolve our continuous integration and testing infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience CI/CD software such as Jenkins, Team City, and buildbot Experience with automated testing, automation, and scripting Experience with infrastructure, operations, and system administration Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills Self-motivated and comfortable managing multiple priorities Curious, adaptable, and always learning Strong Python skills

This is a hybrid role. The first three months are fully in-studio. After that, you'll work at our Vancouver studio three days per week.

The hiring range for this position is $85,000 - $105,000 CAD annually and is subject to change. The final base salary compensation will be based on factors such as skills, education, and experience.
